This has been another hard week for me. I haven’t had the chance to turn on my sewing machine at all.

My daughters are now all well and healthy, thank goodness, but my poor husband and son have been dealing with the influenza virus. It’s so sad to see a three year old sapped of energy and flushed from his high fever. I’m sort of in a weird in between place. I don’t have the fever that typically accompanies the flu, but I AM experiencing the achiness and chills. I’ve also been fighting a headache for the past two days.

So, I plan on getting a lot of rest this weekend and hopefully being good to go next week.

In the meantime, I wanted to make note of the pinner’s conference that is happening in Southern California next weekend!

For those of you who don’t know, a Pinner’s Conference is basically Pinterest that you can interact with in person. You can go and shop and take amazing classes and get inspired in every crafting genre there is. There are over 100 different class options that you can take and over 300 businesses for the show portion of the conference.

There are six different Pinner’s Conferences held throughout the year in six different locations. California is the first on the list and my Aunt and Uncle will be there teaching a class that highlights their amazing Ideal Seam Guides! The class is called “Practical, Perfect Piecing & Sewing.” They will also be teaching at a few of the other Conference locations so check it out and see if there will be a conference near you!

Find all of the information about each of the locations and learn more about what a Pinner’s Conference is at  https://www.pinnersconference.com.
